Wheat germ oil

Cold-pressed wheat germ oil is the vegetable oil with the highest natural content of vitamin E. This vitamin, also known as the coat or cell protection vitamin, promotes a silky, shiny coat and protects the skin. Its antioxidant effect plays an important role in cell protection: free radicals can be neutralized and cell damage prevented.

Wheat germ oil is also said to have a positive effect on the blood circulation of the skin and the metabolism, which contributes to the general well-being of the dog.

Wheat germ oil is ideal for giving in combination with Fidelis Salmon Oil, which is rich in Omega 3.

Feeding recommendation

Wheat germ oil must not be fed to dogs with grain allergies.

Small dog breeds up to 10 kg body weight are given one teaspoon,
Dogs up to 20 kg two teaspoons,
Dogs up to 40 kg two tablespoons,
Dogs with a higher body weight three tablespoons per day.

FIDELIS wheat germ oil is filled into a high-quality amber glass bottle. Filling the oil in a dark glass bottle protects the contents from light, thus ensuring optimum shelf life and preserving the purity of the oil. While glass does not release any harmful substances into the contents, plastic bottles can release harmful substances (plasticizers). We avoid this risk by filling the oil in a glass bottle.

We recommend storing the product in the refrigerator. An opened bottle should be used within 6 to 8 weeks. The oil should also not be heated to high temperatures.
