Algae lime is made from deposits of red algae. It mainly contains calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, silicic acid and a large number of trace elements such as boron and iodine. Algae lime is mainly used to compensate for the excess phosphorus in meat feed.
Red seaweed supplies the body with many important minerals, especially calcium, which is stored in the bones and teeth. The seaweed also has a high iodine content.
