Linseed oil

FIDELIS linseed oil is a cold-pressed vegetable oil obtained from linseed, the ripe seeds of linseed (Linum usitatissimum).

Linseed oil has a high vitamin E content and an almost perfect omega-3 to omega-6 ratio. The alpha-linolenic acid it contains helps the dog to form blood and can dilate blood vessels. It also regulates blood pressure and cholesterol.

Linseed oil also has a positive effect on the development of the joints and the immune system and is therefore an ideal supplement for puppies, seniors or weakened dogs.

Feeding recommendation

We recommend 5 ml linseed oil per 10 kg body weight per day. One ml corresponds to approximately one teaspoon.

FIDELIS linseed oil is filled in a high-quality amber glass bottle. Filling the oil in a dark glass bottle protects the contents from light, thus ensuring optimum shelf life and preserving the purity of the oil. While glass does not release any harmful substances into the contents, plastic bottles can release harmful substances (plasticizers). We avoid this risk by filling the oil in a glass bottle.

We recommend storing the product in the refrigerator. An opened bottle should be used within 6 to 8 weeks. The oil should also not be heated to high temperatures.
