Our delicious pork menu is a special menu. It contains not only fresh meat from the country pig, but also fresh pig's ears, which dogs love so much. A menu for real gourmets and for dogs with a high energy and protein requirement.
We have chosen buckwheat, a pseudo-cereal, as the source of carbohydrates. Buckwheat is particularly rich in nutrients and vital substances and contains other important amino acids such as lysine and tryptophan in addition to the proteins in the meat. The menu is rounded off with natural minerals, high-quality linseed oil and a little fennel.
We only use fresh, food-quality ingredients for our fresh pork menu in our in-house production facility. High-quality pork and pig's ears are cooked slowly and gently at low temperatures. Only then do we add cooked buckwheat, blanched carrots, pumpkin, apples, linseed oil, rosehip, algae lime, brewer's yeast, seaweed meal and fennel to the cooked feed. This ensures that the taste and nutrients from the fresh ingredients are optimally preserved.
No high temperatures, no fillers, no artificial vitamin supplements, no extrusion, no sterilized tins. The result: Like home-cooked, healthy food with all the nutrients from the fresh original ingredients, which tastes just as good as it looks. 100% natural and 0% additives.

You can find more interesting details about the individual ingredients used and their positive properties under the "What's in it and why?" tab.
Freshly cooked pork and pig ears (70%)
Cooked pork is rich in protein, which contributes to muscle maintenance, as well as vitamins and minerals such as B vitamins, iron and zinc. Cooking makes the meat easier to digest, which makes it well tolerated by dogs with sensitive stomachs. Potential pathogens are not present in cooked pork.
Buckwheat (10%)
Buckwheat is a good addition to a dog's diet as it is gluten-free and an excellent source of vegetable protein and fiber. The protein in buckwheat contains all the essential amino acids that are important for a healthy diet in dogs. Buckwheat is also rich in various vitamins and minerals such as B vitamins, magnesium and iron, which can contribute to overall health.
Carrots (7%)
In addition to providing energy, fiber and low calories, carrots are healthy because they are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A and biotin in particular are worth mentioning here. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body.
Pumpkin (6%)
Pumpkin is rich in antioxidants, which counteract the formation of free radicals. The potassium it contains helps to regulate fluid balance, while vitamin B6 makes an important contribution to blood formation and the nervous system. Finally, magnesium in pumpkin regulates the electrolyte and water balance in the body and ensures bone stability.
Apple (4%)
Apples are suitable for a healthy diet as they contain many vitamins, minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, folic acid, pectins and polyphenols.
Linseed oil (1.9%)
Linseed oil contains a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3 or linoleic acid. According to scientific studies, linseed oil can have a preventative and soothing effect on diseases such as diabetes, arthrosis and high cholesterol levels. However, actual effects have not yet been sufficiently proven.
Rosehip (0.4%)
In addition to vitamin C, rosehips also contain numerous other ingredients that have a positive effect on health. These include: Fruit acids, essential oils, pectins, tannins, silicic acid, the antioxidants lycopene and flavonoids, the vitamins provitamin A, vitamin B1 and B2 as well as vitamin E, the minerals zinc, copper, sodium, phosphorus, iron, calcium and magnesium.
Algae lime (0.4%)
Algae lime consists of deposits of red algae. It contains mainly calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silicic acid) and thus prevents a deficiency of minerals and trace elements. The high calcium content supports the stability of bones and teeth and balances out the excess phosphorus from meat feeding, which can otherwise lead to kidney problems.
Brewer's yeast (0.1%)
Brewer's yeast contains plenty of vitamins and minerals and is also a good source of protein. It also stimulates the metabolism and helps to keep blood sugar levels constant.
Seaweed meal (0.1%)
Seaweed meal contains many minerals such as zinc and carotenoids, which support the skin metabolism and the pigmentation of the coat, nose and paw pads. The amino acid lysine it contains optimizes feed conversion; cellulose and mannitol support digestion.
Fennel (0.1%)
Fennel is good for dogs as it is a natural source of vitamins such as A, C and K. It also contains minerals such as calcium, iron and potassium, which are important for bone and muscle health. In addition, fennel can help with digestive problems and have a calming effect on the gastrointestinal tract. However, it is important to feed fennel in moderation and consult with a vet beforehand to ensure it is suitable for the individual dog.
Is it all in there?
As a specialist in healthy dog food, vet Anita Kröger's ideas and experience make a valuable contribution to the FIDELIS recipes and range. Anita Kröger and her team at the Center for Dog Health are enthusiastic about FIDELIS and recommend the products. In the following video, she explains what the term "complete food" is all about and whether it really is possible to optimally cover your dog's daily requirements with just one complete food.
Our cooked and then frozen menus all consist of high-quality, fresh ingredients from food production: pure muscle meat and healthy offal, fresh vegetables and fruit, selected oils and herbs, in a carefully balanced ratio, gently cooked - without high temperatures, without high pressure, and without artificial additives, preservatives, flavor enhancers and attractants.
However, as many customers have no refrigeration facilities, whether for space reasons or on vacation, we thought about how we could preserve our fresh menus without freezing them.
It quickly became clear that sterilization in a tin can was out of the question for us. Nobody would think of offering their child food from tin cans, so why should it be any different for our dogs. And just because all manufacturers offer canned food doesn't necessarily mean it's good.
The fact that the meat in our fresh menus is pre-cooked using gentle steam cooking means that sterilization can take place at significantly lower temperatures and significantly reduced dwell times in the jar. As a result, the meat remains nice and chunky and is not overcooked into a "mush".
Due to the prior steam cooking, significantly less water escapes during sterilization, which means that the addition of artificial binders, which are used by almost all other can manufacturers, is no longer necessary. The binders used, which do not have to be declared according to the Feedstuffs Ordinance, are potential triggers for allergies or other illnesses.
By using only fresh raw materials without binding agents, our fresh meals in a jar smell fresh and delicious and no longer have the typical disgusting smell of "canned food".
The gentle preparation also means that nutrients from the healthy original ingredients are retained much better and the addition of artificial vitamins is not necessary when feeding a varied diet.
Our fresh menus in jars have even more advantages over canned food. When using glass, no metal parts or coating residues can come loose and settle in the food. The residues from tin cans in the food can cause cancer and many other diseases. Glass does not leave any residues. It is not for nothing that baby food is only available in glass.
The jars are also resealable and bad smells from opened cans in the fridge are a thing of the past.
The result: fresh-smelling, healthy, wholesome menus for a species-appropriate, varied and wholesome diet for your dog. Just as practical as canned food, only much better.
Feeding recommendation
Young dog up to 8 months: approx. 4.5 %
Dog up to 15 kg: approx. 2.5 - 3 %
Dog over 15 kg: approx. 2.5 - 3 %
The % refers to the body weight of your dog. Example: A dog with a weight of 20 kg and a recommended daily ration of 2.5% requires 500 g of food per day.
The following values are guide values for the amount of food for normally active, non-neutered healthy dogs. However, individual requirements may vary by up to 50% from the calculated values due to age, breed or activity. These are only starting points for estimating the daily amount of food.
Change of food
Fidelis recommends an immediate change of food. Skip one meal (preferably in the evening) and start directly with our food at the next meal. Feed a single variety for the first 14 days so that the dog's stomach can get used to the food. After two weeks, we recommend alternating between different flavors.
Delivery & storage
Our Fresh Menus in a jar are delivered to you in protective packaging containing 6 jars each. Therefore, the minimum order quantity is 6 jars and then always 6 more. Our fresh menus in a jar have a shelf life of at least 1 year. Once opened, we recommend storing the menus in the fridge and using them up within 3-4 days.
