You do not need to add anything to the FIDELIS menus if you have a normal healthy dog. However, it is important that you alternate between all the menus. In principle, just like us humans, we eat something different every day and then have all the nutrients we need over time. Our vet Anita Kröger has made a video about this. Click here for the video.
There is also a detailed video on this topic by Christian. You can find the video here.
We also regularly offer different seasonal menus to add even more variety to your dog's diet. Fresh, natural ingredients, as little processed as possible and a varied diet is the key to a healthy dog diet.
However, there are dogs that cannot be fed a varied diet for various reasons, such as protein intolerances due to allergies. In the long term, these dogs may suffer from nutritional deficiencies. There are also cases where the dog has a special nutritional requirement.
We have developed the vitamin and mineral booster for all these dogs. This turns every FIDELIS menu into a complete food, even when fed individually. The booster contains all the important vitamins and minerals.
When are the FIDELIS menus sufficient?
| Fresh menus | ||
|---|---|---|
| fed alternately | is needs-covering | |
| Only one or a few varieties are fed | plus FIDELIS vitamin and mineral booster | covers requirements |
| Dry menus | ||
| fed alternately | plus FIDELIS dry menu oil | covers needs |
| only one or a few varieties fed | plus FIDELIS Vitamin and Mineral Booster | is sufficient |
However, every animal's nutritional requirements are different and depend on exercise, metabolism and other life circumstances. It is of course impossible to standardize the individual and exact requirements of a dog. Fresh natural ingredients, processed as little as possible and fed alternately are the key to a healthy diet, for dogs as well as for humans.
