Eggshell powder

In addition to the important mineral calcium, which is required for bone metabolism, healthy teeth and muscle function, eggshell powder also provides other natural minerals such as magnesium, potassium, sodium, iron, copper and zinc. Due to the fine grinding, eggshell powder is well tolerated and the bioavailability and thus the absorption of calcium is very high.

For dogs that are allergic to meat proteins, e.g. beef, chicken or pork, eggshell powder is a high-quality alternative to meat bones or meat bone meal.

Due to its low phosphorus and high calcium content, eggshell powder is ideal for cooked meat preparations such as FIDELIS fresh menus.

Feeding recommendation

1g FIDELIS eggshell meal contains approx. 350mg calcium.

1 teaspoon corresponds to approx. 5g.

The daily requirement of calcium is approx. 50 - 90mg Ca/kg body weight. Pregnant and lactating bitches and growing puppies require up to 180mg Ca/kg body weight.

Storage instructions

Store cool, protected from light, closed and dry, always remove with a clean, dry spoon.
