Cod liver oil

Cod liver oil is obtained from the liver of a young cod fish, also known as cod. Cod liver oil provides large amounts of omega 3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA), as well as vitamin D and vitamin A. It also contains iodine and phosphorus.

The natural vitamin D it contains promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine.

Vitamin D cannot be produced independently by your dog's body. Cod liver oil therefore helps to ensure a healthy supply of nutrients.

The biological availability of vitamins from natural oils is significantly higher than that of the vitamin in artificial (synthetic form).

Due to its high nutrient content, cod liver oil is the ideal supplement for puppies, seniors or weakened dogs.

Feeding recommendation

2 - 3 times a week 1 - 1.5 ml per 5 kg body weight.

FIDELIS cod liver oil is filled in a high-quality amber glass bottle. Filling in a dark glass bottle protects the contents from light and thus ensures optimum shelf life, but also preserves the purity of the oil. While glass does not release any harmful substances into the contents, plastic bottles can release harmful substances (plasticizers). We avoid this risk by filling the oil in a glass bottle.

We recommend storing the product in the refrigerator. An opened bottle should be used within 6 to 8 weeks. The oil should also not be heated to high temperatures.
